The Old Sod Society is delighted to welcome back to Ottawa two of our favourite exponents of English music and song, Doug Eunson and Sarah Matthews: Great musicianship, two fine voices, wonderful arrangements, and a very engaging stage presence.

This talented Derbyshire-based pair have been playing English Acoustic Folk Music together since 1995. They both sing – in superb harmony – with melodeon and fiddle / viola instrumentation.

They choose their material with care and craft their arrangements with style and intuitive elegance, playing English and European dance music and drawing on some of the finest English folk song repertoire.

Doug and Sarah invite you to join them in a delightful evening of winter wassails and Christmas charm. Share a special evening singing, swaying and socializing, to put you right in the festive mood. Their new album "CHIMES" is sure to be the perfect Christmas gift!
