Alex Cumming (The Teacups) & Nicola Beazley (Speldosa) are an exciting Accordion & Fiddle duo performing songs and tunes from around England and beyond. They are both recent graduates of the Newcastle University Folk and Traditional Music Degree program, and were New Roots finalists in 2014.

The last couple of years have seen Alex & Nicola build up a great reputation performing at some top UK venues and festivals including Towersey Village Festival, Whitby Folk Week, Sidmouth Folk Week, Bromyard Folk Festival, Sage Gateshead and more.

2016 sees the release of Alex and Nicola's much anticipated debut album "Across The Water" on Haystack Records, which will be accompanied by launch tours in the UK, USA and Canada.

With Alex's rhythmic danceable accordion style and strong voice, and Nicola's stunning and gutsy fiddle playing, the duo creates a big sound and gives a new voice to the wonderful canon of English Folk Music.
