3TiR is a phenomenal international trio of Celtic musicians from Canada and Ireland. The group features Franco Ontarian fiddler Pierre Schryer, Irish button accordionist Dermot Byrne, and European influenced guitarist Adam Dobres from British Columbia. A tour de force of versatility, fine musicianship and technical dexterity, this trio brings together three diverse and successful music careers laden with awards and nominations including JUNO, Canadian Folk Music, TG4 Irish Traditional Musician of the Year, and the Grammy Awards.

Connected by traditional music of various styles, the group name reflects their unity with "TiR" meaning "land or country" in Irish Gaelic. Indeed these superstar musicians represent their individual land and heritage proudly, and together they have a magic that is undeniably inspiring. The connection started in 1999 with the recording of Pierre and Dermot, entitled "2 Worlds United." This CD was released on the New Canadian Records label and in Ireland for worldwide distribution by Claddagh Records, and was the catalyst for the two musical comrades to perform together at festivals in Germany, Ireland, and North America. Several tours later and adding Adam to the mix, the trio is now appearing on festival stages from the Pacific to the Atlantic and beyond.
